Short Film: “In The Middle Of Everything” [part 1/3] – about Thai girl in Bangkok

For me the world is a stage for reality theatre, twist this reality a little bit using staged street performance and capture it on (candid) camera.” It’s more eazy.. Language: Thai Subtitles: English A Thai short film in and about Bangkok shot within 48hr’s with 200USD budget. (No soundman). This film is shot using people from the street because of budget reasons. It’s entirely shot with an HVX200 in DV mode. And candid camera techniques are used, just like in tv shows, to make this possible. Total Runtime: 21min Written & Directed by: Mana Sirisillapa (Maurice Spees) Cinematographer: Mana Sirisillapa (Maurice Spees) Production Coordinator: Grisana Punpeng Cast: Thiphawan Wannamahin (Yok)
Video Rating: 4 / 5

Great job. Don’t have time to watch the whole thing at this moment, but I’ll sit down and give it a look this evening. But the first few minutes have hooked me, and I’m curious to see where the story goes

Bangkok can be a very hard city. A lot of people don’t realize that when they first come here, but it’s a pretty stressful place, actually. So it’s a good topic to explore

It’s also good to see people doing independent film. Bangkok is a bit deprived when it comes to the grassroots art

  17. LucBesson44 says:

I really enjoyed this one, she wakes up right, and then she enjoys life, impressive!!!

  18. moreeazy says:

Even in economic despair we can enjoy ourselves, it’s simply where you identify yourself with…

  19. moreeazy says:

Seems to me you did not get it, doesn’t matter, life is not that serious as you take this video…

  20. moreeazy says:

Sometimes you can do in film what can not be done in real life, but in this film it is real life in which it’s done…

  21. alexzzz2006 says:

The first half of the video is brilliant…it really tells a story of of economic despair and worry…..but the second half of video parts 2 and 3, make no sense…seems to be a message about getting outside of ones self, but video message best left with part 1…..parts 2 and 3 ruin the message….

  22. samuso86 says:

very good but lost it a bit towards the end…has she gone mad or something? haha

  23. eturet says:
