Apparently, you can find those girls in many places in Thailand especially in the tourist areas. They’re from very poor families and that’s just their way to survive. Bangkok the capital city of Thailand though being an important political, social and economic center also boasts of rich historical heritage. The Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun and Rattanakosin area are the most famous tourist destinations of the city with historical significance. There are many cannals in the city’s territory and so it is also fondly called “Venice of the East”. Almost 400 richly decorated temples further beautify the look of the city. The Grand Palace situated in the heart of the city is conurbation group of many grand architectural buildings. The Kings of Siam earlier used the location as their official residence. At present the palace area is used for official events such as royal ceremonies and state functions. The interiors of the palace has been further divided into seven parts namely the Phra Maha Montien Buildings, Phra Maha Prasat Buildings, the Chakri Maha Prasat Buildings, the Inner Court and the Siwalai Gardens quarter. The palace also consists a museum which is open for the general public traveling through Bangkok flights.
One of the most significant Buddhist temples of Bangkok is the Wat Pho temple. It is located in the Phra Nakhon district of Bangkok and near to the Grand Palace. The temple is also fondly called the ‘Temple of the Reclining Buddha’ attracts religious devotees and peace seekers all alike.
